The client has an amazing mid-cenury modern house in Alamo Heights that needed to be brought out of the last century. The goal of the project was to maintain the clean lines common with the architecture.
Since vinyl replacement windows would have created a wider frame profile, we went with Milgard Aluminum windows in a bronze (black) finish. The windows had the most energy efficient glass and a thermally broken frame so the client could also realize increased energy efficiency.
The result was stunning. The windows complimented the architecture of the house nicely and helped give a great update to a hidden gem in the neighborhood.
